ISOQAR - A Company Overview

What is ISOQAR?

ISOQAR is an accredited quality registrar. This means that ISOQAR is accredited to audit organisations against a variety of quality and environmental standards. On a day-to-day basis, this work is regulated by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) in the USA and by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) in the UK.

ISOQAR is an independent, third-party certification body without affiliation to any other company or organization. It assesses a wide range of manufacturing and service organizations, both throughout the US and across many parts of the world.

ISOQAR - The Company

Conceived in the late eighties, ISOQAR became accredited by UKAS in February 1993 and by the ANAB in May 1997. It was founded by David Crompton and George Maxwell using their extensive knowledge of all aspects of the 'quality world'. Knowledge gained through working as Quality Managers in industry, Lead Auditors/Managers with other certification bodies and free lance consultants.

Today, ISOQAR uses the services of auditors throughout the USA and has operations world-wide. The original directors still take a 'hands on' approach to running the business, maintaining their original enthusiasm.
